Basketball shooting drills are a great way to improve your shooting accuracy and reliability, but a problem with a lot of them is that they are intended to be done in a team or in pairs or threes. In this article, I will share with you some great solo basketball exercises that you on your own, you can almost do it anywhere.
Hump and move
Choose 5 locations that foul line spacing of the hoop. Of course, the central spot will be on the foul line, but the others will something because diagonal recordings automatically longer.
Agree to a swish before you can move on to the next spot.It can get annoying when you don't like a swish but this all part of the learning process.
One handed Flick
Back in a reclining chair or at the end of the bed. somewhere where you have your hand on a small distance behind your head can extend.
Now, throw the ball vertically upwards and catch it again in your hand. This will get you better suited for the weight of the ball. This is very important because a good shot not only on hand-eye coordination. It is also about knowing exactly how much strength to apply because the characteristics of the ball so well know.
Layup to free Throw Drill
This exercise is really nice, because there are a lot of variation.
Start at the foul line and 5 layups with your favorite hand. do 5 layups with your other hand. Finally, shooting 10 regular free throws. you must have at least seven of them score or else you will need to restart.
This exercise is great for realistic conditions simulating and also gets you to more natural with your non-dominant hand. too many players are only one hand. If you are developing your ability to shoot almost also with your other hand then you will be a great asset for each team.
